The Housing Crash: Not Every Community Has Recovered

I came across this article from the Chicago Tribune that I wanted to share with you. It provides data and insight to something you likely are unaware of. While most of the country has recovered, some communities are still dealing with the fallout of the housing fiasco that began to show in 2007. In the wild wild west days of mortgages, anyone could get a mortgage, and while I did my best to use that to my clients’ advantage, lots of lenders profited on bad products. The fallout of those decisions made by people no longer in the mortgage industry are still being felt today!
